Monck Provincial Park is set alongside Nicola Lake and plays host to many enjoyable activities. Rustic camping, swimming, water skiing, windsurfing and boating are just some of what visitors can engage in. Special archeological attractions in the park include two First Nations pit house depressions, located in the day use area.
This provincial park is popular for fishing, white-water rafting, hiking, canoeing and train-watching. Located on the banks of Thompson River near Merrit.
Fantastic fishing, open-spaced camping and even a dabbling of old west history can be found at Kentucky Alleyne Provincial Park. The greenish blue waters of Alleyne and Kentucky lakes, the sweeping grasslands and Ponderosa pine forest combine to create an extravaganza of colour.
Rotary Park is equipped with everything necessary for a relaxing day at the park. These facilities include a large playground for the children, flower beds, open grass areas, barbecues, washrooms and picnic areas.
Cradled by the Coldwater River in the southwest end of town, this park is a popular spot to play baseball.
Fairley Park is a nice little grass space on the southwest corner of Quilchena and Cleasby St.
Set on the beautiful banks of the Nicola River, near the intersection of Voght St. and 1st Ave., Lions Park provides restrooms and picnic tables.
